The only grouping in our church which caters exclusively for men. Men not only from the congregation but from the Monkstown and surrounding areas.
Meeting on the first Wednesday each month, we commence at 6.30pm with a three course meal prepared by some of the ladies of the congregation. This is followed by a meeting to which guest speakers are invited and the evening usually concludes aroud 8.15pm - in time to catch the second half of any mid-week football match!
Our speakers have covered a variety of topics which appeal to men and have included several well-known sporting personalities. We also have an ‘away day’ each year and have travelled to Dublin, cruising on Lough Erne, visited Rathlin amongst others.
We have a core membership of around 25 members but would welcome new members if you would be interested. Remember, you don’t have to be a member of Abbey to join.
