The Social Committee arranges events to which all members of the congregation, their friends, and neighbours, and all members of the community can enjoy friendship and fellowship in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Back by popular demand Songs of Praise in Abbey. This will be an evening of praise and worship featuring favourite hymns and songs as requested by members of Abbey.If you have a favourite hymn, psalm, paraphrase or song you would like to be sung at this evening and / or a favourite passage of scripture please put your request in the box on the table in the reception area and give the reason why it is your favourite. We will do all possible to include as many of the requests as we can to this great evening.
This type of evening has proved to be very popular and well supported in the past and we look forward to a good response from the members of Abbey.
There will be the usual Social Committee supper at the close and an offering towards the work of the L.I.F.T. teams in 2010.
